Basic Information

CrossFit Cheyenne is run by a team of extremely passionate coaches who care about helping you reach your fitness goals.  Our goal is to challenge your body and mind in a way that will maximize your fitness potential. We look to create a level of fitness that will prepare you for any demand that life may throw at you. Whether it’s everyday activities, performance on the field, or performance while on duty, refuse to let your level of fitness hold you back. We do not specialize in one area of fitness. Instead, we develop overall functional fitness.

We welcome anyone interested in trying out CrossFit for the first time to join one of our Group WOD classes for a free trial class. PLEASE contact us to make arrangements for the best day and time that works with your schedule. Once you have determined that CrossFit Cheyenne is right for you, we will schedule your 3 1-on-1/small group sessions and get you on your way to reaching your fitness goals. With safety as our primary concern, workouts will be scaled down from the start as we encourage people to focus more on mechanics, form and consistency in their workouts, rather than worrying about intensity or weight.

What you can expect from a class:

Classes typically run 1 hour. Sometimes a little more, sometimes a little less, but we do a good job of fitting it all in. We will spend about 10 minutes warming-up as a group.  We will then go into either a strength, skill or mobility session followed by the WOD (Workout Of the Day). WOD’s will be different every time you come – we think of routine as the enemy! They will usually range from 5 to 20 minutes, and most will be closer to 10 than 20.

What we expect from our athletes:

Show up. On time. Ready to work! If you’re running late, that’s okay…just be prepared for a buy-in! Wear comfortable workout clothes with athletic shoes and take off any jewelry. Bring water. Lots of it!
